A conscript in the Russian army who pressed and swore at his remarkable officer on a parade ground in the Moscow area in 2015 was sentenced to five-and-a-half years tough labor in a penal colony on Wednesday.The event, a video of which quickly went viral after being revealed on Nov.
13, happened at Patriot Park, a military-themed activity park and exhibit center outside Moscow run by the Russian Defense Ministry that was utilized to train Russias military employees in the fall.
In the video, Private Alexander Leshkov can be seen madly complaining about the lack of training and the bad support being provided to newly activated soldiers ahead of their implementation to the frontlines in Ukraine.
Are we going into fight in formation? If not then why the fuck are we doing this? Leskov asks his superior, describing the situation as a travesty, imitation firing, imitation workouts ...
The video also reveals Leshkov insulting the lieutenant colonel standing beside him, guaranteeing him that he was speaking on behalf of all the mobilized troops.Leshkov then blows cigarette smoke in the officers face, after which the officer pushes him, and Leshkov pushes him back.Leshkov was jailed soon after the incident.Despite Leshkov pleading not guilty, the Odintsovo Garrison military court discovered Leshkov guilty of beating an exceptional throughout mobilization, TASS reported on Wednesday, pointing out the courts press service.
New legislation presented simply days prior to the Kremlin revealed its partial mobilization in September 2022 made such offenses punishable by between five and 15 years in prison.
