Authorities at Gujarat University in India have ordered 7 Afghan students to leave its hostel, The Times of India reported on Sunday.According to the newspaper, five of the students followed the instruction and moved out.The move comes after the recent controversy over offering prayers in the hostel premises.About three weeks ago, five foreign students, including an Afghan, were injured in an attack by a mob for praying in the hostel.Gujarat University officials, however, said that the students who have been asked to leave the hostel either have completed their courses or only have formalities to deal with, such as obtaining transcripts or certificates.Nijra Gupta, vice chancellor of Gujarat University, stated that the Afghan consulate has been notified about the issue.The post India'sGujarat University evicts 7 Afghan students from hostel first appeared on Ariana News.
